Grandma is taking the prize - and going to New York!

A 74 year-old Wellington grandmother – who’s still working – has won our September 30, 2017, $2199 prize draw.

Carol, who still teaches after school programmes privately four days a week, says the win is a great way to celebrate her 75^th birthday on October 22.

And she thinks she knows how she is going to spend it: “My grandson marries a girl in Canada next year, so I may have a couple of extra days in New York – if they’ve stopped shooting themselves”.

Carol has been completing Horizon’s surveys since 2010.

“I just love doing them actually. My family might laugh at me, but I say ‘yes I’ll go there’. Other surveys are purely commercial and I stopped doing them. I just love Horizon’s surveys – and now I love you even more! Your surveys often mean you have to stop and think.”

Of her prize win she says: “I feel blessed. It’s just wonderful.”
