"A totally unbelievable day!"

Our latest major prize winner says she's having a "totally unbelievable day"!

Anne, from Central Otago, has been completing HorizonPoll surveys since 2008.

Now, on April 1, 2019, she's won the major prize, drawn every quarter - our way of saying thanks to panel members for being heard.

Anne says April Fools Day is becoming an auspicious one: It's when she and her partner started an apricot orchard (what else down here?) - "and we haven't stopped running since. Its a lot of work getting you people your apricots."

She says of her long-running contribution to Horizon's surveys: "I'm so well opinionated and I love the opportunity to have my say. And once I do I stop burning about it."

She says of being a Horizon panel member: "You can have your say and you feel someone might be listening. It's a nice way to have your say. We don't really have independent research these days, so (when Horizon sometimes asks questions in the public interest without a client) it's a nice service".
