Prize Draw for Members with residual balances - Terms and Conditions
1. General
These Prize Draw terms and conditions are provided by Horizon Research Limited (Horizon).
Horizon’s cash rewards platform will end on 31 January 2026. Members who have not been able to redeem their cash rewards balances as at that date will automatically enter a prize draw.
Information on entry, prizes, notification and payment form part of these Terms and Conditions.
Participation in this prize draw is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2. Eligibility
Entry is open to all members of Horizon’s HorizonPoll panel who have residual balances of $0.10 or more in their account earned by answering surveys in the period from 02 May 2024 to 31 January 2026.
Employees and contractors of Horizon Research Limited and their immediate families are ineligible for entry.
3. Entries
Entries in the draw are automatic, based on each Member’s residual balance.
Members who have residual balances in their earnings account at 1 February 2026 will receive one entry for each $0.10 of residual balance.
Members who have redeemed all of their earnings and have a zero balance will not be entered in the draw.
4. Prize Details
The draw is for 40 prizes of $50.00 each.
The total prize pool value is $2,000.00 NZD.
Prizes will be paid by bank transfer to each winner’s bank account.
5. Winner Selection and Notification
Winners will be selected by random electronic draw on Monday 9 February 2026 at Auckland. All decisions are final.
Winners will be contacted by email, text or phone within 2 days of the draw. Prizes will be paid directly by bank transfer into each winner’s nominated bank account, which Horizon will seek from each winner. Cash prizes will not be mailed nor handed over in person.
If a winner cannot be contacted within 7 days or declines to provide bank details so that payment can be made, the prize will be forfeited, and a redraw will occur.
6. Privacy and Publicity
Any personal information collected will be used in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 and Horizon’s Privacy Policy. Bank account details will be deleted from Horizon’s records after payment is made.
7. Liability
Horizon is not responsible for any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Horizon will not be liable for any loss, damage, or personal injury sustained in connection with this prize draw, the prize, or accepting the prize, including any damage to your or any other person’s technical devices e.g. computer or phone.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by New Zealand law.
