People in Canterbury have rated the performance of people and orgaisations during the earthqaukes disaster.
Emergency services received high praise for their efforts, with 94 per cent rating the Fire Service response as very good or excellent, The Press newspaper reports this morning in its coverage of the HorizonPoll survey.

Police were rated very good or excellent by 89 per cent, while the ambulance service and Civil Defence were both well rated by 87 per cent, The Press reports.
Two-thirds of respondents believed the Christchurch City Council's response was very good or excellent.
However, the efforts of some organisations were viewed less favourably.
Banks were rated very good or excellent by 45 per cent, the Earthquake Commission by 47 per cent, and insurance companies by only 29 per cent.
